Juggan explained she did this out of respect and motherly affection, treating Sheherbano like a daughter due to her young age and courageous acts

Juggan said she would kiss the hands of any young woman who showed such bravery against older men, out of admiration

So in essence, it was a sincere gesture by the older Juggan Kazim to honor the bravery and accomplishments of the much younger ASP Sheherbano, treating her with the affection she would show her own daughter as a sign of pride and appreciation for Sheherbano’s courage. It was meant as a mark of respect from a senior personality to a younger heroic woman.

Sangakkara meticulously explained his viewpoint on the dismissal and shed light on the conversations with the umpires. He stated, “We were simply inquiring about the procedure and whether there was any doubt. The on-field umpire must abide by the TV umpire’s decision. Players have to accept it, and there are channels available to convey their opinions, either through direct conversation or the umpire’s report. We follow the established protocol; there is immense pressure on both players and umpires. We strive to resolve such situations in the best possible manner.”
